More than 150 residents of remote areas learned "How to save a life" by attending Basic Life Support and First Aid Training in the municipality of Arriana.
The informational events titled "How to save a life" took place in Organi, Kechros, Arriana and Fillyra villages on 19-20 March 2019.
More than 150 residents of Organi, Kechros, Fillyra and Arriana villages were trained in Basic Life Support and First Aid by attending the informational events that took place in the framework of the MediciNet II project. The info-days were organized by the General Hospital "Sismanogleio "in cooperation with the municipality of Arriana.
At the same time, more than 210 students for primary schools of the municipality of Arriana participated in the Preventive Dentistry and Oral Health Education program, where they were examined by dentists and were informed about the proper care of denture. The action was implemented in school classrooms of minority primary schools in Organi, Kechros and Fillyra villages, with the participation of additional 7 elementary schools (Dranias, Kardamos, Myrtiski, Virsini, Kimi, Chloi and Kerasia), on 19th as well as on 20th of March, which is the dedicated as the World Oral Health Day.
